Work packageWP5 — Development, sustainable development and the socioecological transitions
ObjectivesThe objective is to understand the relationship between the ecological and social transitions and in particular the extent to which the democracy on the workplace could facilitate (or not) the ecological transition. In particular, it aims to (i) bridge two streams of literature (on ecological transition and on workplace democracy) and (ii) study the relationships between employee participation and the capacity of firms to integrate ecological dimensions into their strategy.
Expected resultsThe research will provide (i) a theoretical framework to reconsider the workplace democracy in light of the ecological transition, and (ii) empirical evaluations of that framework. This will also led to policy recommendations.
